When Pawel Szotek came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Sosnowe Klimaty fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pawel Szotek couldn't finish the play. In the 4th minute, Sebastian Dynda reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kennet Åhlberg. The goal made the score 1-0. After a rather tough play, IFK Kik's Mark Siggman got a free kick in the 8th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Witold Okropny during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 14th minute, one of Sosnowe Klimaty:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sosnowe Klimaty. In the 17th match minute, Sosnowe Klimaty was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfred Hajder to maneuver through the defense. IFK Kik's Kennet Åhlberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save IFK Kik from getting a goal against them. 23 minutes into the match, Sosnowe Klimaty's goal looked a bit too open when Nils-Åke Kruuse came free, but Janusz Grabski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Tanek Dziatkowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kennet Åhlberg was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Sosnowe Klimaty's zone, Nils-Åke Kruuse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Janusz Grabski came out of the goal and Nils-Åke Kruuse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Sosnowe Klimaty's Tolek Ferfecki got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute of the match Rikard Wik sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Janusz Grabski skillfully saved the ball. Alfred Hajder hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. The attack was good, but when Tanek Dziatkowski in the 38th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Tanek Dziatkowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Sosnowe Klimaty's Tanek Dziatkowski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kennet Åhlberg. That made the score 2-0 after 47 minutes of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nils-Åke Kruuse stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Alfred Hajder managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sosnowe Klimaty's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfred Hajder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kennet Åhlberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 56 minutes into the match, IFK Kik's goal looked a bit too open when Pawel Szotek came free, but Kennet Åhlberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kennet Åhlberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tanek Dziatkowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Maksymilian Kornecki, 81 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 82nd match minute, IFK Kik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig Vase to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes into the match, Sosnowe Klimaty's Pawel Szotek sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kennet Åhlberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kennet Åhlberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfred Hajder, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After some careless play in the IFK Kik defense, Alfred Hajder kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kennet Åhlberg. The IFK Kik fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kennet Åhlberg should have stopped the shot. In the 91st match minute, IFK Kik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig Vase to maneuver through the defense. 96 minutes into the game, Mark Siggman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. IFK Kik's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sosnowe Klimaty the free kick. A collision led to IFK Kik getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Mark Siggman hit a great ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sosnowe Klimaty had played much better football throughout.
