Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Youri Djorkaeff took the kick off in the first half of the match. Eliseu Negri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Youri Djorkaeff in the 11th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Youri Djorkaeff got free with Eliseu Negri in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. New Loser FC's Eliseu Negri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Youri Djorkaeff in the 16th minute of play. A collision led to New Loser FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Olívio Coutinho hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute, Virgílio Diniz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The New Loser FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guillaume Minier in the 25th minute of play forced New Loser FC's goalkeeper Eliseu Negri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, New Loser FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lilian Thuram came free, but Eliseu Negri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliseu Negri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Youri Djorkaeff, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Youri Djorkaeff in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eliseu Negri saved New Loser FC from getting behind. In the 31st minute Edmond Kubiak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseu Negri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Marco Nugues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute, Virgílio Diniz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Virgílio Diniz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eliseu Negri was a little too slow when Youri Djorkaeff got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 2-1. Youri Djorkaeff could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Eliseu Negri made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

51 minutes into the game, Youri Djorkaeff cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Eliseu Negri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 55th match minute, New Loser FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jailson Souto to maneuver through the defense. Guillaume Minier took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eliseu Negri. Eliseu Negri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guillaume Minier in the 64th minute of play forced New Loser FC's goalkeeper Eliseu Negri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eliseu Negri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lilian Thuram, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 67th minute, Youri Djorkaeff left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Avel Vat fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. 71 minutes into the game, Youri Djorkaeff cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Eliseu Negri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 75th minute, Youri Djorkaeff ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eliseu Negri was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. Moïse Labruyère made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgílio Diniz in the 78th minute of play. New Loser FC were awarded a corner in the 80th minute after Avel Vat's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Reinaldo Vargas took the corner. After taking down the ball on New Loser FC's corner Reinaldo Vargas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Moïse Labruyère quite easily take care of the ball. Eliseu Negri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guillaume Minier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the New Loser FC defense, Youri Djorkaeff kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eliseu Negri. The New Loser FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eliseu Negri should have stopped the shot. Avel Vat's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
