The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jedrzej Brataniec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrik Myr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Håkan Botvidsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Borys Kolano in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute Egon Åkerström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jedrzej Brataniec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Egon Åkerström managed to get in a good position for a shot. IFK Kik's supporters rose to their feet, but Egon Åkerström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jedrzej Brataniec breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emil Czerner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Håkan Botvidsson made a huge save. Jedrzej Brataniec came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by IFK Kik's Egon Åkerström. But to his dismay, Egon Åkerström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Jedrzej Brataniec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egon Åkerström in the 30th minute of the match. In the 35th minute Ksawery Bator suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The supporters of FC Krasnosielc booed when IFK Kik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrik Myr didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute, Borys Kolano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Håkan Botvidsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Jedrzej Brataniec showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egon Åkerström, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After 46 minutes, Pankracy Mruk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Krasnosielc and the IFK Kik players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of IFK Kik booed when FC Krasnosielc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pankracy Mruk didn't get a good kick on the ball. 48 minutes into the match, Egon Åkerström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jedrzej Brataniec. FC Krasnosielc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Egon Åkerström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After the first half IFK Kik were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

During the 73rd minute of the match Pankracy Mruk completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Pankracy Mruk a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. IFK Kik's Torsten Blomberg shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 74th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jedrzej Brataniec but with some difficulty. If Borys Kolano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the game, Torsten Blomberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jedrzej Brataniec. Torsten Blomberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-3. In the 92nd minute, Torsten Blomberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
