In the 9th minute, Fiore Austruy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Trond Traband fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Ivarsson having to interfere. Eric Ivarsson didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT's Francisco Javier Echazarreta shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Ingvar Granberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingvar Granberg in the 27th minute of play forced SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT's goalkeeper Juan Jesus Heyboer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, Álvaro Catalán hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juan Jesus Heyboer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingvar Granberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rudolf Högman hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 34th match minute, SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trond Traband to maneuver through the defense. In the 38thth minute of the game Ingvar Granberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT's Juan Jesus Heyboer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eric Ivarsson made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Francisco Javier Echazarreta sent off a good shot on target. In the 45thth minute of the game Ingvar Granberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT's Juan Jesus Heyboer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Juan Jesus Heyboer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torsten Kock in the 51st minute of play. Eric Ivarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Trond Traband, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Degerfors IF booed when SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dante Gorostiaga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baltazar Como's late challenge caught a Degerfors IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baltazar Como helped the player get up and apologised. In the 64th minute, José Marcelo Somoza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 65 played minutes SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT got a freekick which was hit by Baltazar Como. After recieving a nice pass, Degerfors IF's Helge Alberg tried to score from far away in the 66th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Degerfors IF's Eric Ivarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dante Gorostiaga in the 74th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT's goal looked a bit too open when Ingvar Granberg came free, but Juan Jesus Heyboer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Dante Gorostiaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute Ingvar Granberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Jesus Heyboer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Baltazar Como hit a great ball. Juan Jesus Heyboer made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Ingvar Granberg sent off a good shot on target. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT's goalkeeper Juan Jesus Heyboer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eric Ivarsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dante Gorostiaga's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Francisco Javier Echazarreta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT fans cheered their team off the field, for while Degerfors IF had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
