Eliseu Negri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabriel Odeen's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Olívio Coutinho during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eliseu Negri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Odeen, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Jens-Ola Löv took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jailson Souto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, Kristian Kvick got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jens-Ola Löv made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cássio Britto in the 24th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Zero Hedge's goal looked a bit too open when Jailson Souto came free, but Jens-Ola Löv reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Duarte Azevedo made in the 30th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Jailson Souto however managed to control. After 34 minutes of play, Zero Hedge's Bertil Åström made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eliseu Negri was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cássio Britto kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. When Lukas Kråk fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zero Hedge's protests and gave Lukas Kråk a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Zero Hedge's Lukas Kråk got a free kick in the 40th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Virgílio Diniz managed to get in a good position for a shot. New Loser FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Virgílio Diniz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jens-Ola Löv breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 47th minute, Arman Sjögren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bertil Åström made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Virgílio Diniz during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Duarte Azevedo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 66 minutes into the match.
