Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) AFC United's Ekialde Balsera started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ercole Ceresoli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eleder Borrellino in the 3rd minute of the match. Ercole Ceresoli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hector-Luis Conllas went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Eleder Borrellino managed to get in a good position for a shot. AFC United's supporters rose to their feet, but Eleder Borrellino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ercole Ceresoli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to CA Boca Jrs getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Fabrizio Costacurta hit a great ball. In the 17th minute Hector-Luis Conllas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ercole Ceresoli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pirro Pereta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ercole Ceresoli having to make a save. Ercole Ceresoli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector-Luis Conllas, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. AFC United were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after CA Boca Jrs's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Balesio Leiva took the corner. Ercole Ceresoli came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by AFC United's Ekialde Balsera. But to his dismay, Ekialde Balsera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. A collision led to CA Boca Jrs getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Diego Tamburrini hit a great ball. Balesio Leiva took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ercole Ceresoli. CA Boca Jrs's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ekialde Balsera's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ercole Ceresoli was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. After the first half AFC United were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dennis Tozzi to strike the kick off in the second half. Ercole Ceresoli was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Hector-Luis Conllas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hector-Luis Conllas really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. 62 minutes into the game, AFC United's Eustaquio Vesga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ercole Ceresoli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. If Eustaquio Vesga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 67th play minutes Hector-Luis Conllas shot 1-7, a short shot which went by Ercole Ceresoli and just under the crossbar into goal. The supporters of AFC United booed when CA Boca Jrs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabrizio Costacurta didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute AFC United were awarded a corner. Balesio Leiva went to the cornerflag to take it. After a rather tough play, CA Boca Jrs's Fabrizio Costacurta got a free kick in the 79th minute. The long shot by Balesio Leiva in the 80th minute really tested Ercole Ceresoli's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Ercole Ceresoli was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Hector-Luis Conllas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hector-Luis Conllas really showed his touch with that goal: 1-8. After a rather tough play, AFC United's Baltasar Zunzunegui got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The supporters of AFC United booed when CA Boca Jrs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniele Ubriaco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ercole Ceresoli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ekialde Balsera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AFC United played a much better game than CA Boca Jrs and deserved their victory. The CA Boca Jrs players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
