Håkan Botvidsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olliver Todman in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Olliver Todman made a precise shot to the right of Håkan Botvidsson. The wind increased when Patrik Myr made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Jemmett Baba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Australian Youth Academy getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Olliver Todman hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Ben Minton took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Håkan Botvidsson to make any attempt to save it. After having played for 69 minutes, Stig Vase managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. IFK Kik's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stig Vase was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Olliver Todman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Håkan Botvidsson made a huge save. Australian Youth Academy's Dugald Berresford got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 75th play minute Dugald Berresford came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Håkan Botvidsson. 0-6. In the 83rd minute, Dugald Berresford hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th match minute, IFK Kik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harry Jonasson to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the game, Australian Youth Academy's Olliver Todman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Håkan Botvidsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olliver Todman got free with Håkan Botvidsson in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 90th minute of the match, Neville Wal tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Håkan Botvidsson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a defensive mix-up in IFK Kik's zone, Olliver Todman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Håkan Botvidsson came out of the goal and Olliver Todman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match was over Australian Youth Academy could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than IFK Kik throughout the match.
