The Sosnowe Klimaty fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Eliseu Negri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tolek Ferfecki, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pawel Szotek to make the kick off. In the 55th minute Tanek Dziatkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseu Negri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sosnowe Klimaty were furious when Waldemar Dyczkowski was red carded, 59 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 58 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sosnowe Klimaty! Duarte Azevedo walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. With an all-out effort, New Loser FC's Janusz Grabski threw himself towards the right post 68 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Virgílio Diniz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Milosz Penkalski kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sosnowe Klimaty's zone, Duarte Azevedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Janusz Grabski came out of the goal and Duarte Azevedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Janusz Grabski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cássio Britto in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfred Hajder in the 73rd minute of play forced New Loser FC's goalkeeper Eliseu Negri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sosnowe Klimaty's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tanek Dziatkowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Sosnowe Klimaty's Pawel Szotek got a free kick in the 98th minute. Duarte Azevedo, 99 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.
