In the 17th minute, Degerfors IF's Ingvar Granberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Degerfors IF's Ingvar Granberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ercole Ceresoli. That made the score 2-0 after 22 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torsten Kock in the 29th minute of play forced CA Boca Jrs's goalkeeper Ercole Ceresoli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Dahlberg's late challenge caught a CA Boca Jrs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. David Dahlberg helped the player get up and apologised. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ingvar Granberg to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes Degerfors IF got a freekick which was hit by Ingvar Granberg. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Dahlberg in the 56th minute of play forced CA Boca Jrs's goalkeeper Ercole Ceresoli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Degerfors IF's goalkeeper Eric Ivarsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dennis Tozzi. 58 minutes into the match, Degerfors IF's Torsten Kock sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ercole Ceresoli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 60th minute, David Dahlberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ercole Ceresoli was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Ercole Ceresoli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agne Widberg in the 63rd minute of play. In the 88th minute, Armando Garibaldi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute Agne Widberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ercole Ceresoli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute, Agne Widberg made a precise shot to the right of Ercole Ceresoli. CA Boca Jrs's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0.
