In the 29th minute IFK Kik were awarded a corner. Torsten Blomberg went to the cornerflag to take it. Håkan Botvidsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dennis Tozzi in the 32nd minute of the match. After 42 played minutes CA Boca Jrs got a freekick which was hit by Fabrizio Costacurta. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CA Boca Jrs reached it. 2-1 became the score in the 69th minute when Dennis Tozzi elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 78 minutes into the match, CA Boca Jrs's goal looked a bit too open when Patrik Myr came free, but Ercole Ceresoli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Corrado Cicchetti struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Håkan Botvidsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CA Boca Jrs. 89 minutes into the match, IFK Kik's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis Tozzi came free, but Håkan Botvidsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Egon Åkerström kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. IFK Kik's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
