Denílson Negri kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 15th minute Christian Almkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Léo de Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Léo de Brito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ralf Allgöwer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christian Almkvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Léo de Brito read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's goal looked a bit too open when Tomé Reis came free, but Alejandro Gavilanes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
