Benne Verdonk made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Niek Wander sent off a good shot on target. Witalis Chmielecki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roy Makai in the 10th minute of play. Marius Skinderis was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 11 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute, Marius Skinderis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in MZKS Sharks Gdynia's zone, Damian Kisiel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Witalis Chmielecki came out of the goal and Damian Kisiel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Artur Rakiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When MZKS Sharks Gdynia's Radomil Bielatowicz in 33 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Benne Verdonk guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Witalis Chmielecki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roy Makai in the 37th minute of play. Radomil Bielatowicz struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Benne Verdonk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MZKS Sharks Gdynia. Robert Olchawa hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. A collision led to Nakties Klajūnai getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Leon Schütterle hit a great ball. In the 45th minute of the match Artur Rakiewicz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benne Verdonk skillfully saved the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roy Makai to make the kick off. Damian Kisiel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Witalis Chmielecki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Radomil Bielatowicz in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benne Verdonk saved Nakties Klajūnai from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Nakties Klajūnai's Vladas Bagdžiūnas got a free kick in the 58th minute. Artur Rakiewicz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Benne Verdonk. Nakties Klajūnai's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, MZKS Sharks Gdynia's goal looked a bit too open when Ferruccio Liberti came free, but Witalis Chmielecki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute, Patrik Leppänen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benne Verdonk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artur Rakiewicz in the 78th minute of the match. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
