The supporters of Poli Dream Team booed when Club A. Chipa y Tereré was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafino Veto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolando Corderun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rolando Corderun in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matias Matia saved Poli Dream Team from getting behind. 19 minutes into the match, Poli Dream Team's goalkeeper Matias Matia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Olari Mõniste. Gerardo Elixio charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gerardo Elixio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 19 played minutes Poli Dream Team got a freekick which was hit by Gerardo Elixio. With his leg Matias Matia managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Club A. Chipa y Tereré's Rolando Corderun fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Olari Mõniste struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Matias Matia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club A. Chipa y Tereré. Olari Mõniste's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Matias Matia skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Paulo Segio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Platon went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Poli Dream Team's goalkeeper Matias Matia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Olari Mõniste could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Matias Matia made a huge save. If Edgardo Pietro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulises Sidro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Matias Matia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Amancio Stanislao left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Poli Dream Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Rolando Corderun made the kick off in the second half. Edgardo Pietro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matias Matia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Olari Mõniste's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Matias Matia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olari Mõniste in the 63rd minute of play. Edgardo Pietro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rolando Corderun scored 1-2 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Matias Matia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Rolando Corderun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee felt a red card was in order, 78 minutes into the game, when Prospero Corderun put in a rough tackle. In the 79th match minute, Poli Dream Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prospero Corderun to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olari Mõniste in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matias Matia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Club A. Chipa y Tereré manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Poli Dream Team to win.
