Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) When Ladislao Hibai came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Nueva Lepra FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ladislao Hibai couldn't finish the play. With his leg Benito Sanz managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when Nueva Lepra FC's Eloy Dominic fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Adrian Veto kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After having played for 18 minutes, Eloy Dominic managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nueva Lepra FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eloy Dominic was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislao Hibai in the 32nd minute of play. In the 35th minute Lautaro Puig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Tancredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ladislao Hibai succeeded in the game's 37th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Eloy Dominic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aaron Alcocer hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. When Eloy Dominic came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Nueva Lepra FC fans jumped to their feet. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ladislao Hibai to make the kick off. Jorge Martino kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After 54 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Carballo. In the 55th minute, Ladislao Hibai made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 61st minute, Ladislao Hibai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roberto Quintyn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eloy Dominic, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eloy Dominic in the 67th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Ladislao Hibai made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Stefan Augustyn kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Abel Carballo hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eloy Dominic in the 77th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Ladislao Hibai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Ladislao Hibai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aaron Alcocer kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ladislao Hibai in the 84th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the game, Eloy Dominic cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Adrian Veto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislao Hibai in the 92nd minute of play. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislao Hibai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Veto in the 95th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 95 minutes, Hugo Ferrant mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Nueva Lepra FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. There was no doubt that Nueva Lepra FC were the better team. Nueva Lepra FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
