An unexpectedly hard shot by Albinas Matūzas in the 14th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enrique Mazza. FC Karamba's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Lacasa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. FC Karamba were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Chile's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Han Yu Feng took the corner. After some careless play in the FC Karamba defense, Mariano Lacasa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enrique Mazza. The FC Karamba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enrique Mazza should have stopped the shot. FC Karamba's Enrique Mazza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 30th minute of play. Francisco Carballar charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Francisco Carballar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. FC Karamba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Danas Nausėda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Karamba's Enrique Mazza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Casaus in the 38th minute of play. Orlando Casaus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enrique Mazza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Chile were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after FC Karamba's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mariano Lacasa took the corner. 42 minutes into the match, FC Karamba's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Enrique Mazza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Orlando Casaus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. André Luís Zanette could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. The FC Karamba players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Chile were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mariano Lacasa to make the kick off. In the 94th minute, one of FC Karamba:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Karamba. The referee gave Chile a penalty, 96 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mariano Lacasa, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Karamba's Enrique Mazza. 1-5. The FC Karamba fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Chile were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
