Gerold Zollt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaromír Čížek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bagni's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Arrigo Melone in the 4th minute. The corner ended in Arrigo Melone almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but DJK Füchtel Vechta's Gerold Zollt did a great save. 6 minutes into the game, Marcus Terstappen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DJK Füchtel Vechta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bagni the free kick. After a rather tough play, DJK Füchtel Vechta's Marcus Terstappen got a free kick in the 6th minute. Arturo Tosi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthieu Richardot in the 8th minute of play. Jaromír Čížek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Gerold Zollt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arturo Tosi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matthieu Richardot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bagni's goalkeeper Arturo Tosi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 23rd minute, Matthieu Richardot made a precise shot to the right of Arturo Tosi. Bagni's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. DJK Füchtel Vechta's Wellington Nóbrega got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Matthieu Richardot managed to get in a good position for a shot. DJK Füchtel Vechta's supporters rose to their feet, but Matthieu Richardot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arturo Tosi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jaromír Čížek blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gerold Zollt having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthieu Richardot in the 31st minute of play forced Bagni's goalkeeper Arturo Tosi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. DJK Füchtel Vechta's Matthieu Richardot managed to work through Bagni's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Matthieu Richardot dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Arturo Tosi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthieu Richardot in the 35th minute of play. Arturo Tosi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthieu Richardot, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 37 minutes into the match, DJK Füchtel Vechta's goal looked a bit too open when Jaromír Čížek came free, but Gerold Zollt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 43 played minutes DJK Füchtel Vechta got a freekick which was hit by Matthieu Richardot. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ovidiu Poenaru stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Bagni's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ovidiu Poenaru fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Gerold Zollt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaromír Čížek, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 65th match minute, Bagni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Chenard to maneuver through the defense. DJK Füchtel Vechta made a substitution. Philipp Lahm replaced Rea Selbert. 67 minutes into the match, Bagni's goal looked a bit too open when Matthieu Richardot came free, but Arturo Tosi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute, Mauro Galvão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bagni's Arturo Nardone was substituted for Beppe Mansueto. Bagni made a substitution. Frank Pagliuca replaced Jaromír Čížek. Mauro Galvão hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. If Camillo Genovese had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. DJK Füchtel Vechta's Ren Zhan Cheng was substituted for Chris Kursawe. With an all-out effort, DJK Füchtel Vechta's Arturo Tosi threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Matthieu Richardot, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 85th minute, Ovidiu Poenaru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arturo Tosi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Bagni's Arturo Tosi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthieu Richardot in the 90th minute of play. Gerold Zollt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Pagliuca in the 92nd minute of play. In the 95th minute, Theo Wasmeier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in DJK Füchtel Vechta's zone, Arrigo Melone stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerold Zollt came out of the goal and Arrigo Melone tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. DJK Füchtel Vechta's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
