Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Léonard Beuve got the match started through his kick off. In the 6th match minute, Avel Vat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camille Laffargue to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Slawomir Sikola from long distance, 6 minutes into the match, got Philippe Barreau's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Luc Botton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Wasyl Sidorowicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wasyl Sidorowicz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marco Nugues's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. After a rather tough play, Karpaty Krosno's Slawomir Sikola got a free kick in the 15th minute. Arthur Receveur's late challenge caught a Karpaty Krosno's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arthur Receveur helped the player get up and apologised. Avel Vat's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Andrzej Filipowski scored to the left of an out of position Philippe Barreau, making the score, 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Léonard Beuve in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wasyl Sidorowicz saved Karpaty Krosno from getting behind. Wasyl Sidorowicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Léonard Beuve, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mikolaj Pinczewski hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 32 minutes into the match, Dariusz Perkowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Philippe Barreau. Avel Vat's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dariusz Perkowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After 36 played minutes Avel Vat got a freekick which was hit by Luc Botton. After a defensive mix-up in Avel Vat's zone, Dariusz Perkowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Philippe Barreau came out of the goal and Dariusz Perkowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andrzej Filipowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Philippe Barreau made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andrzej Filipowski made a kick off. If Waldemar Prusek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Philippe Barreau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dariusz Perkowski in the 55th minute of the match. In the 56th minute Léonard Beuve shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wasyl Sidorowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 63 played minutes Avel Vat got a freekick which was hit by Côme Rouquette. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Léonard Beuve in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wasyl Sidorowicz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 83rdth minute of the game Léonard Beuve who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Karpaty Krosno's Wasyl Sidorowicz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Boguslaw Szkarpiak fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Karpaty Krosno's protests and gave Boguslaw Szkarpiak a yellow card for diving instead. After 84 played minutes Karpaty Krosno got a freekick which was hit by Boguslaw Szkarpiak. Andrzej Filipowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philippe Barreau having to interfere. After some careless play in the Avel Vat defense, Andrzej Filipowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Philippe Barreau. The Avel Vat fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Philippe Barreau should have stopped the shot. Wasyl Sidorowicz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marco Nugues's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. When the referee ended the match the Karpaty Krosno players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
