Attila Kardos came out of the goal and Diego Mendonça tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Mendonça in the 7th minute of play forced Csabagyöngye's goalkeeper Attila Kardos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Attila Kardos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zeferino Távora took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from István Zolnai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If András Fábián had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 14 minutes, Syd Barret managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tasso FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Syd Barret was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. István Zolnai struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Zeferino Távora didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Csabagyöngye. After some careless play in the Csabagyöngye defense, Diego Mendonça kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Attila Kardos. The Csabagyöngye fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Attila Kardos should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Tasso FC's zone, Zsombor Mester stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeferino Távora came out of the goal and Zsombor Mester tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Csabagyöngye booed when Tasso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuno Leão didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute, Nándor Pécsi fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 42nd minute, András Fábián ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zeferino Távora was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Diego Mendonça made a kick off. Nuno Leão kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 53rd minute, António Casado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. István Zolnai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Csabagyöngye's András Fábián got a free kick in the 55th minute. Patrício Tomé could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Attila Kardos made a huge save. When Bálint Kerekes fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Csabagyöngye's protests and gave Bálint Kerekes a yellow card for diving instead. Bálint Kerekes hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Zeferino Távora took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from András Fábián, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patrício Tomé scored 1-3 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Attila Kardos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 73 played minutes Csabagyöngye got a freekick which was hit by Fülöp Grósz. Tasso FC's Diego Mendonça got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Tasso FC booed when Csabagyöngye was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeromos Bártfai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Syd Barret could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Attila Kardos made a huge save. István Zolnai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeferino Távora having to interfere. After 92 played minutes Csabagyöngye got a freekick which was hit by István Kis. István Zolnai charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed István Zolnai the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 93 played minutes Csabagyöngye got a freekick which was hit by István Zolnai. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Tasso FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
