Cícero Branco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Régis Koehler in the 5th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Oswaldo Breckenfeld put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Natanael Alvarenga. In the 13th minute, Claudinei Nogueira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cremonese FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Natanael Alvarenga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oswaldo Breckenfeld in the 16th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Cremonese FC's zone, Oswaldo Breckenfeld stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Natanael Alvarenga came out of the goal and Oswaldo Breckenfeld tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gabriel Ferraz hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Cícero Branco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinei Nogueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Natanael Alvarenga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oswaldo Breckenfeld in the 23rd minute of play. Natanael Alvarenga didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Callegari's Oswaldo Breckenfeld shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-2 in the ordered_time% minute. The supporters of Callegari booed when Cremonese FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinei Nogueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st match minute, Callegari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dino Gomes to maneuver through the defense. Arthur Coimbra charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oswaldo Breckenfeld couldn't finish the play. Oswaldo Breckenfeld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The wind increased when Oswaldo Breckenfeld made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oswaldo Breckenfeld in the 73rd minute of play forced Cremonese FC's goalkeeper Natanael Alvarenga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes in the game, Chicão Sergipano fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Natanael Alvarenga having to interfere. After 78 played minutes Callegari got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Meira. Cícero Branco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Régis Koehler, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Chicão Sergipano did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-6 to the left of a surprised Natanael Alvarenga 82 minutes into the match. After 88 played minutes Callegari got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Ferraz. Oswaldo Breckenfeld recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match was over Callegari could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cremonese FC throughout the match.
