Wasyl Sidorowicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Edvin Karlberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. After some careless play in the Karpaty Krosno defense, Wilhelm Cane kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wasyl Sidorowicz. The Karpaty Krosno fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wasyl Sidorowicz should have stopped the shot. In the 14th minute, Jerry Vallin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute Wilhelm Cane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wasyl Sidorowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Wilhelm Cane had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wasyl Sidorowicz. Karpaty Krosno's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wilhelm Cane was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Wasyl Sidorowicz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilhelm Cane's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute, Wilhelm Cane made a precise shot to the right of Wasyl Sidorowicz. Karpaty Krosno's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Karpaty Krosno's Wasyl Sidorowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Wallgren in the 30th minute of play. Wilhelm Cane's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wasyl Sidorowicz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Hermanö Oilers's Kenneth Forsberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Karaszkiewicz in the 40th minute of play. Benedykt Ranowiecki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Kenneth Forsberg made a huge save. Julian Karaszkiewicz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kenneth Forsberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. After the first half Hermanö Oilers were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benedykt Ranowiecki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Wilhelm Cane took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wasyl Sidorowicz. Wasyl Sidorowicz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Julian Karaszkiewicz scored 1-4 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kenneth Forsberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wilhelm Cane's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 61stth minute, Wasyl Sidorowicz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Cyryl Brytka fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Karpaty Krosno's protests and gave Cyryl Brytka a yellow card for diving instead. After 63 played minutes Karpaty Krosno got a freekick which was hit by Cyryl Brytka. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedykt Ranowiecki in the 66th minute of play forced Hermanö Oilers's goalkeeper Kenneth Forsberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wasyl Sidorowicz came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Hermanö Oilers's Emil Wallgren. But to his dismay, Emil Wallgren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. The Hermanö Oilers fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when Hermanö Oilers's Wilhelm Cane looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Kenneth Forsberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedykt Ranowiecki in the 76th minute of play. Julian Karaszkiewicz succeeded in the game's 83rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-6. Benedykt Ranowiecki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kenneth Forsberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. In the 88th minute Benedykt Ranowiecki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenneth Forsberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedykt Ranowiecki in the 89th minute of play forced Hermanö Oilers's goalkeeper Kenneth Forsberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wasyl Sidorowicz was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Sven-Edvin Karlberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sven-Edvin Karlberg really showed his touch with that goal: 2-7. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Hermanö Oilers walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
