Club13's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Callegari the free kick. A collision led to Club13 getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oswaldo Breckenfeld in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Horea Copil saved Club13 from getting behind. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After having played for 61 minutes, Nicu Marghescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club13's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicu Marghescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 62 played minutes Club13 got a freekick which was hit by Sandu Şteţ. Horea Copil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessandro Cearense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alessandro Cearense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Callegari's Alessandro Cearense in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Oswaldo Breckenfeld could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Horea Copil made a huge save. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
