With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gordon Horgan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 9 minutes into the match, COPERNICUS TORUŃ's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Doicaru came free, but Gordon Horgan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, COPERNICUS TORUŃ's goalkeeper Gordon Horgan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robert Doicaru. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Robert Doicaru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zgierskie Zlewy's supporters rose to their feet, but Robert Doicaru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gordon Horgan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Karol Ruszkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brion Murphy in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute COPERNICUS TORUŃ were awarded a corner. Brion Murphy went to the cornerflag to take it. COPERNICUS TORUŃ's Brion Murphy was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Karol Ruszkowski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 26th minute, Brion Murphy made a precise shot to the right of Karol Ruszkowski. Zgierskie Zlewy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Karol Ruszkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tahsin Atacan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gordon Horgan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Doicaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Doicaru in the 59th minute of play forced COPERNICUS TORUŃ's goalkeeper Gordon Horgan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute Brion Murphy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karol Ruszkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karol Ruszkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brion Murphy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. COPERNICUS TORUŃ's Gordon Horgan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hadi Özilhan in the 63rd minute of play. Gordon Horgan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Doicaru in the 64th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robert Doicaru in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gordon Horgan saved COPERNICUS TORUŃ from getting behind. Karol Ruszkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tahsin Atacan, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After 87 minutes of play, Zgierskie Zlewy's Barnaba Bazylnikov made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gordon Horgan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gordon Horgan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barnaba Bazylnikov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Zgierskie Zlewy booed when COPERNICUS TORUŃ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brion Murphy didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Zgierskie Zlewy fans cheered their team off the field, for while COPERNICUS TORUŃ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
