In the 20th minute, Aleksander Birkenhagen made a precise shot to the right of Sébastien Marionneau. Astral Roots Gdynia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 27th minute Bogumil Dankowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antoni Brama saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sébastien Marionneau was a little too slow when Fevzi Baykara got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aleksander Birkenhagen during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The Śląsk Bytom fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fevzi Baykara in the 81st minute of play forced Astral Roots Gdynia's goalkeeper Sébastien Marionneau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fevzi Baykara in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sébastien Marionneau saved Astral Roots Gdynia from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Fevzi Baykara's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sébastien Marionneau was relentless in the 87th minute of the game.
