In the 17th minute Milosz Flis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franck Le Saux saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Franck Le Saux made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radowit Bycofski in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Nowacki in the 21st minute of play forced corsaire nantais's goalkeeper Franck Le Saux to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, Romuald Combret hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Radowit Bycofski made the kick off in the second half. FC Saxon's Ignacy Ciechocki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romuald Combret in the 53rd minute of play. Emil Pyczkowski came free with the goalkeeper in the 58th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Franck Le Saux could save by the left post. The supporters of FC Saxon booed when corsaire nantais was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. The corner led FC Saxon's Milosz Marciewicz to fire away a dangerous shot which Franck Le Saux despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With an all-out effort, FC Saxon's Franck Le Saux threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Milosz Marciewicz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 73 minutes into the game, Éluard Vidal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. corsaire nantais's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Saxon the free kick. Milosz Flis took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Franck Le Saux. Franck Le Saux dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Franck Le Saux showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milosz Flis in the 78th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Éluard Vidal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ignacy Ciechocki. FC Saxon's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Éluard Vidal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. In the 84th minute Milosz Flis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franck Le Saux saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Franck Le Saux showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil Pyczkowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Franck Le Saux took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Pyczkowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the game, Emil Pyczkowski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Franck Le Saux. Emil Pyczkowski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. FC Saxon's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
