After taking down the ball on Pinhote FC's corner Bart Buckinx fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mao Zhen Hong quite easily take care of the ball. Adérito Abreu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mao Zhen Hong was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sílvio Luís Ceresso showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 33 minute of play. Mao Zhen Hong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio Luís Ceresso in the 38th minute of the match. Sílvio Luís Ceresso took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mao Zhen Hong. Mao Zhen Hong dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1.

Academia Monte Gordo made a substitution. Fryderyk Grucza replaced Fabrício Lustosa. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fryderyk Grucza made a kick off. Fryderyk Grucza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joacim First read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. After having played for 67 minutes, Fryderyk Grucza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Academia Monte Gordo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fryderyk Grucza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
