With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fevzi Baykara in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mao Zhen Hong saved Academia Monte Gordo from getting behind. In the 47th minute, Fabrício Lustosa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antoni Brama was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Fryderyk Grucza made the kick off in the second half. Mao Zhen Hong made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fevzi Baykara in the 57th minute. Antoni Brama made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fryderyk Grucza in the 84th minute of play. Mao Zhen Hong made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Fevzi Baykara sent off a good shot on target. Fryderyk Grucza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Antoni Brama having to make a save. After 91 played minutes Śląsk Bytom got a freekick which was hit by Sivert Eliasson. 93 minutes into the game, Luciano Tiso threw the ball into play from the sideline. Śląsk Bytom's Tymoteusz Dunajski quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 95 minutes into the game, Aleksander Birkenhagen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Śląsk Bytom's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Academia Monte Gordo the free kick. After 95 played minutes Śląsk Bytom got a freekick which was hit by Aleksander Birkenhagen. When Fevzi Baykara came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Śląsk Bytom fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fevzi Baykara couldn't finish the play. Śląsk Bytom's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
