Melvin Passemard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaudencio Lekubegi in the 6th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Gaudencio Lekubegi managed to get in a good position for a shot. LavAzzA's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaudencio Lekubegi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melvin Passemard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Gaudencio Lekubegi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 12th minute Tobias Siggman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwan Lepucki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. LavAzzA's Iwan Lepucki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Siggman in the 16th minute of play. In the 21st minute Tobias Siggman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwan Lepucki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 22 played minutes corsaire nantais got a freekick which was hit by Xie Yuan Jun. In the 26th minute, Xu Rong Chao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iwan Lepucki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mamadou Clermont, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Gaudencio Lekubegi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Melvin Passemard having to make a save. The supporters of LavAzzA booed when corsaire nantais was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xie Yuan Jun didn't get a good kick on the ball. LavAzzA's Iwan Lepucki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Siggman in the 40th minute of play. In the 43rd match minute, corsaire nantais was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xie Yuan Jun to maneuver through the defense. Melvin Passemard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaudencio Lekubegi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nguyễn Phuong kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gaudencio Lekubegi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The throw-in from Nguyễn Phuong in the 52nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by corsaire nantais's Philibert Robillard. Melvin Passemard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaudencio Lekubegi in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaudencio Lekubegi in the 55th minute of play forced corsaire nantais's goalkeeper Melvin Passemard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iwan Lepucki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tony Chopin in the 57th minute of the match. Iwan Lepucki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thibaut Bernadet in the 58th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, corsaire nantais's goal looked a bit too open when Gaudencio Lekubegi came free, but Melvin Passemard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tobias Siggman got free with Iwan Lepucki in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Melvin Passemard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaudencio Lekubegi in the 68th minute of the match. Xie Yuan Jun hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. corsaire nantais's Yves Fuchs was substituted for Thibaut Bernadet. Xie Yuan Jun hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Xie Yuan Jun charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xie Yuan Jun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 86th match minute, corsaire nantais was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xie Yuan Jun to maneuver through the defense. LavAzzA's Dennis Abendroth was substituted for Nguyễn Phuong. After a rather tough play, LavAzzA's Franc Fabra got a free kick in the 91st minute. 92 minutes into the match, LavAzzA's goal looked a bit too open when Mamadou Clermont came free, but Iwan Lepucki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tobias Siggman took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iwan Lepucki. Iwan Lepucki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The corsaire nantais supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing corsaire nantais would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
