The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Melvin Passemard prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 20 played minutes corsaire nantais got a freekick which was hit by Thibaut Bernadet. Gao Peng Ran took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Melvin Passemard. Melvin Passemard dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 44 minutes had been played when some careless play by corsaire nantais's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antonio Čolak was slow to take the kick. During this time Northland Vikings's players had a chance to rest. After some careless play in the corsaire nantais defense, Gao Peng Ran kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Melvin Passemard. The corsaire nantais fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Melvin Passemard should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Despite this Benne Benneborg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yves Fuchs in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benne Benneborg saved Northland Vikings from getting behind. The corsaire nantais fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when corsaire nantais's Yves Fuchs looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 83 minutes into the match, Northland Vikings's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Siggman came free, but Benne Benneborg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aleksander Lange hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Northland Vikings's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
