Hugon Drab stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hermelando Coello's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Martien Overmars could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Kuido Undusk made a huge save. After the first half Les Presidents FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

It was a well-played corner which Gregory Thielemans managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hermelando Coello got free with Hugon Drab in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kuido Undusk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martien Overmars in the 57th minute of play. 0-3 became the score in the 58th minute when Hermelando Coello elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 66th minute Les Presidents FC were awarded a corner. Zbigniew Narbut went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Les Presidents FC's Gregory Thielemans to fire away a dangerous shot which Hugon Drab despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience was convinced that Hermelando Coello's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hugon Drab was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. In the 73rd minute Les Presidents FC were awarded a corner.
