Fevzi Baykara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Gao Peng Ran kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Antoni Brama. That made the score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. Andreas Falk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antoni Brama read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Gao Peng Ran could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Antoni Brama made a huge save. Antoni Brama was a little too slow when Gao Peng Ran got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 2-0. A throw-in in the 18th minute of the game was made by Jorge Azenha with Gao Peng Ran as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Fevzi Baykara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benne Benneborg having to interfere. Antoni Brama made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gao Peng Ran in the 30th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Gao Peng Ran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Northland Vikings made a substitution. Ralf Allgöwer replaced Anthony Nwakaeme. In the 55thth minute of the game Gao Peng Ran who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Śląsk Bytom's Antoni Brama was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 55th minute, Kazimierz Ewertowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antoni Brama took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gao Peng Ran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Aleksander Birkenhagen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Northland Vikings getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Aleksander Lange hit a great ball. Silverio Padro hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Northland Vikings's Ture Lundgren was substituted for Andreas Falk. Andreas Falk kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. The supporters of Śląsk Bytom booed when Northland Vikings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonatan Gerdberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ture Waller in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antoni Brama saved Śląsk Bytom from getting behind. Antoni Brama showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ture Waller, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Fevzi Baykara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benne Benneborg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Śląsk Bytom's Fevzi Baykara slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benne Benneborg. That made the score 2-1 after 79 minutes of play. Northland Vikings's Benne Benneborg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fevzi Baykara in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th minute Ture Waller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antoni Brama saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Fevzi Baykara kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benne Benneborg. That made the score 2-2 in the 93 minute of play. In the 98th match minute, Northland Vikings was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aleksander Lange to maneuver through the defense. Despite being the better team, Śląsk Bytom failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
