An unexpectedly hard shot by Philip Toeback in the 10th minute of play forced POPODARA F.C's goalkeeper Raymond Halseth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute, Douglas Debecker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Raymond Halseth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Douglas Debecker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Philip Toeback in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raymond Halseth prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Philip Toeback came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Limburg United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Philip Toeback couldn't finish the play. Limburg United's Julius Vanneste played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niculae Miclescu in the 44th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Philip Toeback in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raymond Halseth prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 47 minutes into the match, Federico Mauro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Julius Vanneste, 1-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind POPODARA F.C's goalkeeper Raymond Halseth, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 55 minutes into the match, Douglas Debecker dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Raymond Halseth, 1-4. Douglas Debecker might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raymond Halseth. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Douglas Debecker ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Limburg United booed when POPODARA F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niculae Miclescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The corner led to Limburg United's Herald Van de Velde getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Philip Toeback's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Raymond Halseth firmly grabbed it by the left post. The audience was convinced that Douglas Debecker's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raymond Halseth was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Philip Toeback in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Douglas Debecker in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raymond Halseth saved POPODARA F.C from getting behind. 95 minutes into the game, Roy Herland was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. POPODARA F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Limburg United the free kick. After a rather tough play, POPODARA F.C's Roy Herland got a free kick in the 95th minute. If Philip Toeback had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chants of Limburg United echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as POPODARA F.C had held the ball for most of the match.
