Emiliano Velasco scored 0-2 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dan Wennerqvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dan Wennerqvist came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Despidida AFC's Dinu Ivănescu. But to his dismay, Dinu Ivănescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Gabriel Silban made in the 22nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Soroca F.C.'s Zézinho Neiva. Fernando Selatse made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Adrián Espadas sent off a good shot on target. Adrián Espadas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Fernando Selatse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute Dinu Ivănescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Wennerqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute of the match Despidida AFC got a corner. Soroca F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Oliver Rizzo ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Despidida AFC's goalkeeper Fernando Selatse, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Adrián Espadas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Fernando Selatse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A throw-in in the 45th minute of the game was made by Gabriel Silban with Oliver Rizzo as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The supporters of Despidida AFC booed when Soroca F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zézinho Neiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emiliano Velasco's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dan Wennerqvist firmly grabbed it by the left post. Emiliano Velasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Despidida AFC made a substitution. Ancho Branca replaced Dinu Ivănescu. Despidida AFC's Robert Percha was substituted for Emiliano Velasco. In the 60th minute of the game Kees Harmsen made a throw-in which Robert Percha played forward. In the 63rdth minute of the game Robert Percha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Soroca F.C.'s Dan Wennerqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Soroca F.C.'s Rodolfo Atarrabi was substituted for Hernan Lano. 70 minutes into the match, Despidida AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Zézinho Neiva came free, but Fernando Selatse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Robert Percha came free, but Dan Wennerqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernando Selatse was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Despidida AFC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Soroca F.C. from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
