Despidida AFC's Fernando Selatse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabricio Martxelin in the 3rd minute of play. Jorge Havier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinu Ivănescu in the 8th minute of play. In the 12th minute Raul Celino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Selatse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorge Havier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emiliano Velasco went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. If Kees Harmsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 21st minute Generoso Kepa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Selatse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Emiliano Velasco notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Betelgeux FC's Jorge Havier. Jorge Havier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Tino in the 25th minute of play forced Betelgeux FC's goalkeeper Jorge Havier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Despidida AFC's Pastor Tino in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 34th match minute, Betelgeux FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgilio Raitin to maneuver through the defense. Jorge Havier made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Emiliano Velasco sent off a good shot on target. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by Betelgeux FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Oliver Rizzo was slow to take the kick. During this time Despidida AFC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Oliver Rizzo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Betelgeux FC's Jorge Havier did a great save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emiliano Velasco got free with Jorge Havier in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jorge Havier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Velasco in the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd minute Dinu Ivănescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Havier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aureliano Gora to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Despidida AFC got a freekick which was hit by Dinu Ivănescu. In the 56th minute, Dinu Ivănescu made a precise shot to the right of Jorge Havier. Betelgeux FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Despidida AFC made a substitution. Robert Percha replaced Emiliano Velasco. In the 60th minute, Betelgeux FC's Raul Celino dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Robert Percha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 69th minute Despidida AFC were awarded a corner. Oliver Rizzo went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Despidida AFC's Oliver Rizzo to fire away a dangerous shot which Jorge Havier despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 73rd minute Robert Percha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Havier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Betelgeux FC's Manuel Maraman was substituted for Hipolito Goizeder. In the 76th minute of the match Despidida AFC got a corner. Betelgeux FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Oliver Rizzo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Robert Percha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Jorge Havier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute Betelgeux FC were awarded a corner. Generoso Kepa went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Generoso Kepa almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Despidida AFC's Fernando Selatse did a great save. Betelgeux FC's Jorge Havier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Percha in the 84th minute of play. Jorge Havier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Percha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Despidida AFC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Kajetan Gdowik hit a great ball. A sloppy throw-in by Elias Rainerio in the 95th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Despidida AFC's Michael Corleone. Jorge Havier came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Despidida AFC's Robert Percha. But to his dismay, Robert Percha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. Despidida AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
