In the 19thth minute of the game Paul Gheară who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Black Rose 1979's Karl-Johan Ahlqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Paul Gheară sped through Black Rose 1979's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Karl-Johan Ahlqvist. Wawrzyniec Charamut made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerardo Hitz in the 23rd minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wawrzyniec Charamut prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, De Boedo Vengo's Ulises Cesario got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Sebastian Enekoitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of De Boedo Vengo booed when Black Rose 1979 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldemar Matorin didn't get a good kick on the ball.
