The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lino Rios in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anastasio Maldonado saved Falckner FC from getting behind. Anastasio Maldonado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lino Rios's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. A hard shot 8 in the game by Lino Rios from a close distance when the talented Anastasio Maldonado managed to make a qualified save. Falckner FC's players were relieved. Virgilio Gamus's late challenge caught a AFC FUSION's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Virgilio Gamus helped the player get up and apologised. In the 11th match minute, Falckner FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgilio Gamus to maneuver through the defense. Anastasio Maldonado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Rios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lino Rios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 17th minute, Rigoberto Serafo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice moves Lino Rios could shoot a difficult shot in the 17th minute, which Anastasio Maldonado however easily saved by the left post. 24 minutes into the game, Lino Rios recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Anastasio Maldonado. Lino Rios showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Lino Rios kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Anastasio Maldonado. That made the score 2-0 in the 27 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lino Rios in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anastasio Maldonado saved Falckner FC from getting behind. In the 36th minute, Lino Rios got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Falckner FC's zone, Lino Rios stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anastasio Maldonado came out of the goal and Lino Rios tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lino Rios got free with Anastasio Maldonado in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lino Rios's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anastasio Maldonado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manuel Laurendi made a kick off. The supporters of AFC FUSION booed when Falckner FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquilino Erauso didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lino Rios in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anastasio Maldonado saved Falckner FC from getting behind. If Dawid Beckham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 56 minutes, Rigoberto Serafo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Falckner FC and the AFC FUSION players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Falckner FC's Rigoberto Serafo got a free kick in the 56th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Falckner FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Rios came free, but Anastasio Maldonado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute Lino Rios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Maldonado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AFC FUSION's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dawid Beckham in the 61st minute. The corner led AFC FUSION's Dawid Beckham to fire away a dangerous shot which Anastasio Maldonado despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Dawid Beckham might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anastasio Maldonado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dawid Beckham ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 66th minute, Lino Rios made a precise shot to the right of Anastasio Maldonado. Falckner FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Anastasio Maldonado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lino Rios, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 73 minutes into the match, Falckner FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Rios came free, but Anastasio Maldonado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anastasio Maldonado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lino Rios, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Rios in the 80th minute of play forced Falckner FC's goalkeeper Anastasio Maldonado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christoff Stocks blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anastasio Maldonado having to make a save. Anastasio Maldonado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christoff Stocks, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. AFC FUSION's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
