The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, GERLIROJO Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Celino came free, but Andres Lastur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, GERLIROJO Ψ's Martin Jax sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jorge Havier narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 10thth minute of the game Martin Jax who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Betelgeux FC's Jorge Havier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Generoso Kepa kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, GERLIROJO Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Generoso Kepa came free, but Andres Lastur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, GERLIROJO Ψ's Adriano Vilanova got a free kick in the 16th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aureliano Gora in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andres Lastur prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Andres Lastur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabricio Martxelin in the 18th minute of the match. GERLIROJO Ψ's Andres Lastur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Generoso Kepa in the 29th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, GERLIROJO Ψ's Martin Jax sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jorge Havier narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Betelgeux FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Aureliano Gora hit a great ball. Martin Jax came free with the goalkeeper in the 31st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jorge Havier could save by the left post. A throw-in in the 38th minute of the game was made by Virgilio Raitin with Generoso Kepa as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Andres Lastur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raul Celino in the 45th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Betelgeux FC's zone, Martin Jax stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Havier came out of the goal and Martin Jax tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Martin Jax was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Martin Jax managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GERLIROJO Ψ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Jax was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 55 minutes into the match, Martin Jax notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Betelgeux FC's Jorge Havier. Jorge Havier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Andres Lastur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raul Celino in the 61st minute of play. Andres Lastur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Celino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victoriano Rosalio made a great header on Betelgeux FC's corner, it was just that GERLIROJO Ψ's Andres Lastur managed to reach the ball for a save. A collision led to Betelgeux FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Victoriano Rosalio hit a great ball. GERLIROJO Ψ made a substitution. Epifanio Ibañez replaced Martin Jax. GERLIROJO Ψ made a substitution. Eleuterio Benvido replaced Arnout Van den Wyngaert. In the 66th minute, Victoriano Rosalio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute Aquilino Ihintza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Havier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. GERLIROJO Ψ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eleuterio Benvido in the 76th minute. A nice corner shot did that Joaquin Lopez got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jorge Havier quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jorge Havier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Epifanio Ibañez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jorge Havier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adriano Vilanova went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Epifanio Ibañez scored 3-0 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jorge Havier, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Betelgeux FC defense, Epifanio Ibañez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jorge Havier. The Betelgeux FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jorge Havier should have stopped the shot. Epifanio Ibañez hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. 91 minutes into the game, Generoso Kepa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Andres Lastur. Generoso Kepa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-1. Andres Lastur made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Raul Celino sent off a good shot on target. For all the effort they put into the match, the Betelgeux FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for GERLIROJO Ψ.
