Anastasio Maldonado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mei Zhi Jian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute, LiBeRiA F.C.'s Mei Zhi Jian ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anastasio Maldonado. Anastasio Maldonado yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Anastasio Maldonado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilijano Kitanovski, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute Victorio Oliverio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Maldonado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Emilijano Kitanovski notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Falckner FC's Anastasio Maldonado. Anastasio Maldonado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 18 minutes into the game, Clemente Montes threw the ball into play from the sideline. Falckner FC's Dionisio Emesto quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 20 minutes into the game, Aristides Napier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Falckner FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LiBeRiA F.C. the free kick. 22 minutes into the match, Falckner FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fidel Hartz came free, but Anastasio Maldonado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Falckner FC's Anastasio Maldonado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Falckner FC from getting a goal against them. Falckner FC's Anastasio Maldonado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Hartz in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute of the game Leo Aurre made a throw-in which Victorio Oliverio played forward. In the 28th minute Mei Zhi Jian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Maldonado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mei Zhi Jian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Anastasio Maldonado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mei Zhi Jian in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anastasio Maldonado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When LiBeRiA F.C.'s Victorio Oliverio in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Falckner FC's goalie prevented a goal. Mei Zhi Jian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Anastasio Maldonado made a huge save. In the 43rdth minute of the game Manuel Laurendi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LiBeRiA F.C.'s Perrando Martínez Lamas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aristides Napier kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. LiBeRiA F.C.'s Victorio Oliverio got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Falckner FC's Virgilio Gamus got a free kick in the 47th minute.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manuel Laurendi was the one to do the kick off. Anastasio Maldonado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fidel Hartz, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. The supporters of LiBeRiA F.C. booed when Falckner FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomero Bernard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anastasio Maldonado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mei Zhi Jian in the 57th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Falckner FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mei Zhi Jian came free, but Anastasio Maldonado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anastasio Maldonado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mei Zhi Jian's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Anastasio Maldonado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorio Oliverio in the 65th minute of play. Mei Zhi Jian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anastasio Maldonado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Edmund Lewicki kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After having played for 69 minutes, Mei Zhi Jian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LiBeRiA F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Mei Zhi Jian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 71st minute Fidel Hartz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Maldonado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Falckner FC's goal looked a bit too open when Victorio Oliverio came free, but Anastasio Maldonado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Falckner FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LiBeRiA F.C. the free kick. After 95 played minutes Falckner FC got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Serafo. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. LiBeRiA F.C. had played much better football throughout.
