Radenko Mayer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. When Manfred Andrau came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the KFC Uerdingen 05 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manfred Andrau couldn't finish the play. Radenko Mayer made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Juliusz Kochniarczyk sent off a good shot on target. When KFC Uerdingen 05's Manfred Andrau, in the 20th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for KFC Uerdingen 05. Leonard Bochinski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Radenko Mayer came out and tried to block the shot, but Leonard Bochinski slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 23rd minute. The supporters of Cesarstwo4 u18 booed when KFC Uerdingen 05 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joseph Hussen didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juliusz Kochniarczyk got free with Radenko Mayer in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 40 minutes into the match, Juliusz Kochniarczyk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Radenko Mayer. KFC Uerdingen 05's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juliusz Kochniarczyk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Karsten Illgner stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Leonard Bochinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radenko Mayer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 60 played minutes Cesarstwo4 u18 got a freekick which was hit by Barnaba Markowski. Karsten Illgner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Radenko Mayer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dobromir Wolnik's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Tadeusz Miodek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manfred Andrau in the 70th minute of the match. Radenko Mayer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonard Bochinski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute Leonard Bochinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radenko Mayer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karsten Illgner during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to KFC Uerdingen 05 getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Karsten Illgner hit a great ball. Dobromir Wolnik scored 4-1 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Radenko Mayer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Leonard Bochinski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cesarstwo4 u18's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
