The referee showed Celsinho Cearense the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 10 played minutes AFA Club got a freekick which was hit by Celsinho Cearense. Arthur Marquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlinhos Branco, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After 23 played minutes, Intendencia AD's Álvaro Gomes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arthur Marquez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Intendencia AD reached it. In the 24th match minute, AFA Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Koehler to maneuver through the defense. After 26 minutes of play, AFA Club's Duda Bueno made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cléber Vargas was left in no man's land by his defense there! 29 minutes into the match, Carlinhos Branco notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of AFA Club's Arthur Marquez. Arthur Marquez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arthur Marquez made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Marcinho Schmidt sent off a good shot on target. Celsinho Cearense got his second yellow card in the match during the 37th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Celsinho Cearense hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute of the match Álvaro Gomes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arthur Marquez skillfully saved the ball. Vânderson Pirani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cléber Vargas having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Intendencia AD's Álvaro Gomes got a free kick in the 43rd minute. When Álvaro Gomes fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Intendencia AD's protests and gave Álvaro Gomes a yellow card for diving instead. Álvaro Gomes hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute of the match Nelson Monteiro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cléber Vargas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlinhos Branco to strike the kick off in the second half. Arthur Marquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlinhos Branco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 54 played minutes AFA Club got a freekick which was hit by Dino Fantini. In the 57th match minute, Intendencia AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luan de Almeida to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute Vânderson Pirani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cléber Vargas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcinho Schmidt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Intendencia AD booed when AFA Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Tinoco didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Intendencia AD's goal looked a bit too open when Duda Bueno came free, but Cléber Vargas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cléber Vargas came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by AFA Club's Vânderson Pirani. But to his dismay, Vânderson Pirani quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. When Mário Custódio fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AFA Club's protests and gave Mário Custódio a yellow card for diving instead. Mário Custódio kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Arthur Marquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlinhos Branco, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 96thth minute of the game Duda Bueno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Intendencia AD's Cléber Vargas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. AFA Club walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
