Esteve Malvin kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. With a little luck, Soli Deo Gloria's Maximino Petrigai got control of the ball when Carlinhos Branco tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Soli Deo Gloria's zone, Carlinhos Branco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximino Petrigai came out of the goal and Carlinhos Branco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Soli Deo Gloria getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Esteve Malvin hit a great ball. In the 12th match minute, Soli Deo Gloria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Ponciano to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Luiz Paulo Prado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Intendencia AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Paulo Prado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximino Petrigai breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ezequiel Bortzaioriz charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ezequiel Bortzaioriz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 16 played minutes Soli Deo Gloria got a freekick which was hit by Ezequiel Bortzaioriz. Gavino Maura kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Intendencia AD's Cléber Vargas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Kauldi in the 24th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martin Ponciano during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 25th match minute, Soli Deo Gloria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Ponciano to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Intendencia AD's Luiz Paulo Prado tried to score from far away in the 26th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 31st match minute, Intendencia AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geovanni Almeida to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Intendencia AD's zone, Ezequiel Bortzaioriz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. In the 34th match minute, Soli Deo Gloria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteve Malvin to maneuver through the defense. Maximino Petrigai came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Intendencia AD's Carlinhos Branco. But to his dismay, Carlinhos Branco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, Soli Deo Gloria's Lisandro Virila got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 43rd match minute, Soli Deo Gloria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Kauldi to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Intendencia AD's Geovanni Almeida got a free kick in the 45th minute. The supporters of Intendencia AD booed when Soli Deo Gloria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteve Malvin didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Carlinhos Branco made the kick off in the second half. When Ezequiel Bortzaioriz came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Soli Deo Gloria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ezequiel Bortzaioriz couldn't finish the play. Maximino Petrigai stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlinhos Branco's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Maximino Petrigai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlinhos Branco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st match minute, Soli Deo Gloria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lisandro Virila to maneuver through the defense. Lisandro Virila hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Soli Deo Gloria's zone, Luiz Paulo Prado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximino Petrigai came out of the goal and Luiz Paulo Prado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maximino Petrigai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcinho Schmidt in the 66th minute of play. Tomás Kauldi came free with the goalkeeper in the 69th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cléber Vargas could save by the left post. Cléber Vargas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabricio Seme in the 78th minute of play. Tomás Kauldi struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Cléber Vargas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Soli Deo Gloria. When Carlinhos Branco came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Intendencia AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlinhos Branco couldn't finish the play. Saverio Barea was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 87th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 92 played minutes Soli Deo Gloria got a freekick which was hit by Ezequiel Bortzaioriz. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Intendencia AD fans cheered their team off the field, for while Soli Deo Gloria had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
