But to his dismay, Alexander Skytt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Olof Löfkvist during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 12th minute, Olof Löfkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Holger Johnsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt Björkman in the 14th minute of the match. Holger Johnsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kurt Björkman's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Lars-Erik Björk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Holger Johnsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Team Rocco's goalkeeper Mattias Löfkvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, Protegéerna's goal looked a bit too open when Carl Höijer came free, but Holger Johnsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes in the game Kent Tholsson did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Lars-Erik Björk. Kurt Björkman took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Holger Johnsson. Holger Johnsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sven Skark made a kick off. Team Rocco's Mattias Löfkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven Skark in the 64th minute of play. Mattias Löfkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Magnus Gustavsson in the 65th minute of the match. Mattias Löfkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bo-Erik Springfält, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Kurt Björkman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Holger Johnsson. That made the score 0-3 in the 70 minute of play. After having played for 81 minutes, Magnus Gustavsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Protegéerna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Magnus Gustavsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Protegéerna getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Olof Löfkvist hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Protegéerna's zone, Carl Höijer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Holger Johnsson came out of the goal and Carl Höijer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Holger Johnsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carl Höijer in the 88th minute. In the 88th match minute, Protegéerna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magnus Gustavsson to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Team Rocco getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Alexander Skytt hit a great ball. The supporters of Team Rocco booed when Protegéerna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Löfgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Protegéerna's Holger Johnsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurt Björkman in the 94th minute of play. Mattias Löfkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Magnus Gustavsson in the 96th minute of the match.
