Fermin Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Wästerberg in the 16th minute of the match. When Feliciano Geleberto fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atlético Nacional's protests and gave Feliciano Geleberto a yellow card for diving instead. Feliciano Geleberto kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Atlético Nacional's goal looked a bit too open when Olov Andreasson came free, but Fermin Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Atlético Nacional booed when Snett★inåt★bakåt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olov Andreasson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Godofredo Manni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fermin Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Wästerberg in the 33rd minute of play. In the 37th match minute, Atlético Nacional was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliciano Geleberto to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Nacional's zone, Staffan Ennegren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fermin Santos came out of the goal and Staffan Ennegren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 41 minutes of play, Snett★inåt★bakåt's Staffan Ennegren made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fermin Santos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Olov Andreasson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fermin Santos having to interfere. Snett★inåt★bakåt were furious when Hugo Kuse was red carded, 48 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Snett★inåt★bakåt:s Svante Forssberg showed great skill when he stopped Eleuterio Efren:s penalty. 49 minutes into the match, Eleuterio Efren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Svante Forssberg. Snett★inåt★bakåt's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eleuterio Efren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Godofredo Manni made the kick off in the second half. Svante Forssberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godofredo Manni in the 54th minute of the match. Staffan Ennegren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Atlético Nacional's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Kasper Åkesson 65 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. Fermin Santos made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Einar Ekerot sent off a good shot on target. In the 73rd minute, Staffan Ennegren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fermin Santos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kasper Åkesson in the 76th minute of play forced Atlético Nacional's goalkeeper Fermin Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 83 played minutes Atlético Nacional got a freekick which was hit by Dalmacio Tab. Karl-Åke Biörk might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fermin Santos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karl-Åke Biörk ran back to his position shaking his head. When Karl-Åke Biörk fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Snett★inåt★bakåt's protests and gave Karl-Åke Biörk a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Atlético Nacional booed when Snett★inåt★bakåt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Åke Biörk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Godofredo Manni's late challenge caught a Snett★inåt★bakåt's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Godofredo Manni helped the player get up and apologised.
