Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Luiz Guilherme Barreto started the match with the kick off. Benjamim de Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Marco Hak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reinaldo Queiroz having to interfere. Reinaldo Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johannes Rogaars in the 14th minute of play. The supporters of Várzea F.C. booed when AC Pitt Bier was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geert Kremer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 16 played minutes Várzea F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Benjamim de Moraes. 23 minutes into the match, AC Pitt Bier's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro Rosado came free, but Niels Rensenbrink reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute of the match Gilson Neves sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Niels Rensenbrink skillfully saved the ball. Reinaldo Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bram Smits, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reinaldo Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bram Smits in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute Bram Smits shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reinaldo Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vivaldo Bueno in the 34th minute of play forced AC Pitt Bier's goalkeeper Niels Rensenbrink to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Niels Rensenbrink made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Luiz Guilherme Barreto sent off a good shot on target. After 38 played minutes Várzea F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Jailson Koehler. After some careless play in the Várzea F.C. defense, Bram Smits kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Reinaldo Queiroz. The Várzea F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Reinaldo Queiroz should have stopped the shot. Rogério Loureiro kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, AC Pitt Bier's Tim Hartogh broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Bram Smits made the kick off in the second half. Niels Rensenbrink showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jailson Koehler, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. If Johannes Rogaars had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niels Rensenbrink showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vivaldo Bueno in the 73rd minute of the match. A collision led to AC Pitt Bier getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Vincent Wielens hit a great ball. After 76 minutes, Luiz Guilherme Barreto made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. AC Pitt Bier's Niels Rensenbrink tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Luiz Guilherme Barreto kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. AC Pitt Bier made a substitution. Pieter-Jan Roeles replaced Marco Hak. After a rather tough play, Várzea F.C.'s Luiz Guilherme Barreto got a free kick in the 83rd minute. 84 minutes into the match, Várzea F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Bram Smits came free, but Reinaldo Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bruninho Arósio in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Niels Rensenbrink prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 92 minutes, Pascal Beukenkamp mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AC Pitt Bier and the Várzea F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to AC Pitt Bier getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Pascal Beukenkamp hit a great ball. 93 minutes into the game, Pascall de Vries was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AC Pitt Bier's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Várzea F.C. the free kick. In the 95th match minute, AC Pitt Bier was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascal Beukenkamp to maneuver through the defense. Ramiro Rosado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
