Serafin Eate made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olgun Oktay in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brion Murphy in the 7th minute of play forced Club Atletico Chusca's goalkeeper Serafin Eate to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Olgun Oktay lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Serafin Eate. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olgun Oktay got free with Serafin Eate in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Serafin Eate didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tahsin Atacan went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Gordon Horgan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lauro Moreira in the 27th minute of play. Gordon Horgan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lauro Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Atletico Chusca's Herman Arvidsson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gordon Horgan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 39 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Chusca's goal looked a bit too open when Olgun Oktay came free, but Serafin Eate reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of COPERNICUS TORUŃ booed when Club Atletico Chusca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richie Craig didn't get a good kick on the ball. COPERNICUS TORUŃ's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
