Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gard Bredesen started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd match minute, POPODARA F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dimas Amaro to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Alberto Azevedo in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thomas Revheim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gard Bredesen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Teodoro Peio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bendik Bekken hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Thomas Revheim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfredo Berriotxoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute, Gard Bredesen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teodoro Peio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Gard Bredesen made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 23rdth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Teodoro Peio would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Gard Bredesens short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Teodoro Peio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Atlético Nacional's Teodoro Peio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Nacional from getting a goal against them. Teodoro Peio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gard Bredesen showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 30 minute of play. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Ruperto Gonza took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Teodoro Peio to make any attempt to save it. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Alberto Azevedo was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, POPODARA F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Alberto Azevedo came free, but Thomas Revheim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute of the match Atlético Nacional got a corner. POPODARA F.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Primitivo Mendez ran over to the corner to take the kick. POPODARA F.C's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Carlos Alberto Azevedo scored to the left of an out of position Thomas Revheim, making the score, 3-1. In the 61st minute of the match, Carlos Alberto Azevedo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Thomas Revheim saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Atlético Nacional's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Primitivo Mendez in the 65th minute. The corner led Atlético Nacional's Primitivo Mendez to fire away a dangerous shot which Thomas Revheim despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. POPODARA F.C's Thomas Revheim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Alberto Azevedo in the 66th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Alberto Azevedo in the 67th minute of play forced POPODARA F.C's goalkeeper Thomas Revheim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Atlético Nacional's Carlos Alberto Azevedo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thomas Revheim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 73 minutes, Ruperto Gonza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. POPODARA F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruperto Gonza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Carlos Alberto Azevedo came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Atlético Nacional fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Alberto Azevedo couldn't finish the play. POPODARA F.C made a substitution. Jack Berland replaced Dimas Amaro. Vicente Sasoin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thomas Revheim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. After a rather tough play, POPODARA F.C's Bendik Bekken got a free kick in the 81st minute. POPODARA F.C made a substitution. Ådne Svensen replaced Bendik Bekken. After 83 played minutes POPODARA F.C got a freekick which was hit by Bendik Bekken. Through an outstanding action, after 85 minutes, Thomas Revheim successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Atlético Nacional's Vicente Sasoin got a free kick in the 88th minute. Teodoro Peio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ruperto Gonza went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. POPODARA F.C were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Atlético Nacional for a fine match.
