Bradner McCready made in the 3rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Olgun Oktay however managed to control. Kyle Robinson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brion Murphy in the 4th minute of play. COPERNICUS TORUŃ's Gordon Horgan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save COPERNICUS TORUŃ from getting a goal against them. Ayberk Akgün had several of the COPERNICUS TORUŃ's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 6 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Gordon Horgan as he didn't even see the shot coming. Kyle Robinson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brion Murphy in the 10th minute of play. Ayberk Akgün might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gordon Horgan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ayberk Akgün ran back to his position shaking his head. Gordon Horgan came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by DS ACADEMY TEAM's Ayberk Akgün. But to his dismay, Ayberk Akgün quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 39th minute, Ayberk Akgün ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gordon Horgan was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. 45 minutes into the match, DS ACADEMY TEAM's goal looked a bit too open when Olgun Oktay came free, but Kyle Robinson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

In the 53rd match minute, COPERNICUS TORUŃ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brion Murphy to maneuver through the defense. 54 minutes into the match, COPERNICUS TORUŃ's goal looked a bit too open when Ayberk Akgün came free, but Gordon Horgan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. DS ACADEMY TEAM's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Barnaba Jarocewicz in the 55th minute. The corner led DS ACADEMY TEAM's Barnaba Jarocewicz to fire away a dangerous shot which Gordon Horgan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Ayberk Akgün came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the DS ACADEMY TEAM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ayberk Akgün couldn't finish the play. Kyle Robinson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bradner McCready in the 62nd minute. Gordon Horgan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ayberk Akgün, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. DS ACADEMY TEAM were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after COPERNICUS TORUŃ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Barnaba Jarocewicz took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Barnaba Jarocewicz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gordon Horgan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 69th minute, Ayberk Akgün made a precise shot to the right of Gordon Horgan. COPERNICUS TORUŃ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. COPERNICUS TORUŃ's Gordon Horgan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ayberk Akgün in the 72nd minute of play. DS ACADEMY TEAM's Jerold Lara got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. COPERNICUS TORUŃ's Gordon Horgan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ayberk Akgün in the 78th minute of play. Brion Murphy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Kyle Robinson made a huge save. Gordon Horgan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ayberk Akgün in the 87th minute of play. Gordon Horgan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ayberk Akgün, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After a defensive mix-up in DS ACADEMY TEAM's zone, Olgun Oktay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kyle Robinson came out of the goal and Olgun Oktay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 94th minute Ayberk Akgün shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gordon Horgan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. DS ACADEMY TEAM had won after a very even match.
