In the 13th minute Fabiofs were awarded a corner. Ricardinho Rezende went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Fabiofs's Ricardinho Rezende to fire away a dangerous shot which Bolo Skjold despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Marcinho Lopez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Bolo Skjold tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The wind increased when Petter Skarkman made the kick off in the second half. Bolo Skjold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cauan Batista in the 51st minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Fabiofs's goalkeeper Alexander Hegg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Petter Skarkman. A collision led to Protegéerna getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Ulrik Söderlund hit a great ball. The supporters of Fabiofs booed when Protegéerna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulrik Söderlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Fabiofs's zone, Petter Skarkman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexander Hegg came out of the goal and Petter Skarkman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 60 minutes into the match, Fabiofs's goal looked a bit too open when Ulrik Söderlund came free, but Alexander Hegg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Protegéerna made a substitution. Bo Låsberg replaced Fernando Arango. Protegéerna were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after Fabiofs's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Michael Näver took the corner. The corner ended in Michael Näver almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Fabiofs's Alexander Hegg did a great save. Bolo Skjold took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joãozinho Trints, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bolo Skjold showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Regis, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Petter Skarkman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexander Hegg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. In the 74th minute, Petter Skarkman reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alexander Hegg. The goal made the score 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guido Python in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexander Hegg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ulrik Söderlund kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute Joãozinho Trints shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bolo Skjold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the game, Marcinho Lopez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fabiofs's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Protegéerna the free kick. Marcinho Lopez hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After taking down the ball on Protegéerna's corner Guido Python fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alexander Hegg quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joãozinho Trints in the 89th minute of play forced Protegéerna's goalkeeper Bolo Skjold to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute Guido Python shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Hegg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bo Bo's late challenge caught a Protegéerna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bo Bo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Protegéerna booed when Fabiofs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bo Bo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Petter Skarkman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Alexander Hegg made a huge save.
