The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A.D.Berazategui's Şanver Başaran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miroslaw Puzio in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5thth minute of the game Horacio Cedro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC KLUCZBORK's Klement Bialakowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Şanver Başaran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miroslaw Puzio in the 7th minute of the match. Şanver Başaran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miroslaw Puzio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miroslaw Puzio took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Şanver Başaran. Şanver Başaran dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 29th minute Miroslaw Puzio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şanver Başaran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, FC KLUCZBORK's Miroslaw Puzio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Şanver Başaran narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 39th minute FC KLUCZBORK were awarded a corner. Zygmunt Imbor went to the cornerflag to take it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miroslaw Puzio was the one to do the kick off. Klement Bialakowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horacio Cedro in the 50th minute of the match. Louis Halmsted replaced Celso Lobo. The crowd rose to their feet as Miroslaw Puzio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Şanver Başaran. That made the score 0-2 in the 63 minute of play. In the 66th minute of the match, Zbigniew Marchewka got a very nice opportunity to score, but Şanver Başaran was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 69th minute, Zenon Skirzynski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Scofield Arshavin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Klement Bialakowski came out of the goal and Vernon Messenger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miroslaw Puzio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Şanver Başaran read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Miroslaw Puzio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Şanver Başaran. That made the score 0-3 in the 89 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in A.D.Berazategui's zone, Zbigniew Marchewka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Şanver Başaran came out of the goal and Zbigniew Marchewka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC KLUCZBORK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
