A.D Leônico's supporters rose to their feet, but Osmar dos Santos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gualterio Paublo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Forzositos de Salamanca getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Edgard Macario hit a great ball. Gualterio Paublo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vatan Kambay in the 10th minute of the match. After 12 minutes Forzositos de Salamanca's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Andriy Shevchenko who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Andriy Shevchenko almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Forzositos de Salamanca's Gualterio Paublo did a great save. Forzositos de Salamanca's Gualterio Paublo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vatan Kambay in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Macario in the 21st minute of play forced A.D Leônico's goalkeeper André Luiz de Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, A.D Leônico's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Macias came free, but André Luiz de Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 25 played minutes A.D Leônico got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Åke Blomberg. 27 minutes into the match, A.D Leônico's Vatan Kambay sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gualterio Paublo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eulalio Ubendu in the 32ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of André Luiz de Barros, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 37th minute Osmar dos Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualterio Paublo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vatan Kambay's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gualterio Paublo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Gualterio Paublo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vatan Kambay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The wind increased when Vatan Kambay made the kick off in the second half. Vatan Kambay in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gualterio Paublo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to A.D Leônico getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Tony Mendes hit a great ball. André Luiz de Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Macario in the 63rd minute of play. Forzositos de Salamanca's Gualterio Paublo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Forzositos de Salamanca from getting a goal against them. 67 minutes into the game, Vatan Kambay lined in a short shot 0-2 behind a frustrated Gualterio Paublo. Gualterio Paublo made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Vatan Kambay sent off a good shot on target. Vatan Kambay's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gualterio Paublo firmly grabbed it by the left post. A.D Leônico made a substitution. Antoni Piatek replaced Cássio Romero. In the 78th minute of the match A.D Leônico got a corner. Forzositos de Salamanca's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Andriy Shevchenko ran over to the corner to take the kick. Vatan Kambay struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Gualterio Paublo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.D Leônico. The corner led A.D Leônico's Andriy Shevchenko to fire away a dangerous shot which Gualterio Paublo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. André Luiz de Barros came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Forzositos de Salamanca's Eulalio Ubendu. But to his dismay, Eulalio Ubendu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The supporters of Forzositos de Salamanca booed when A.D Leônico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matías Pimenta didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded A.D Leônico left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Forzositos de Salamanca.
