Eantdit FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gavril Mihai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jan-Erik Askberg's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Ionel Fecioru skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Jan-Erik Askberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute, Iustinian Bărbat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gavril Mihai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Adrian Sillén tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute Tage Tidén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionel Fecioru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Panait Gherase's late challenge caught a Oakcroft Thrashers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Panait Gherase helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Oakcroft Thrashers booed when Eantdit FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Panait Gherase didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute, Gigel Tăbăcaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 80 minutes into the match, Jan-Erik Askberg notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Eantdit FK's Ionel Fecioru. Ionel Fecioru was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tage Tidén struck a weak shot in the 84th minute.
